Changes at the Sunday Independent (West Country)
The Sunday Independent‘s owner Peter Masters – who saved it from closure earlier this year – has taken over eight papers in the ‘View From’ series, which serve towns in Dorset, Devon and Somerset, from Capital Media Newspapers.
The eight editions of ‘View From’ cover Lyme, Bridport, Dorchester, Weymouth, Axminster, Seaton, Honiton, and South Somerset.
Tim Dixon has also been appointed Editorial Director having previously worked in the local and regional press across the West Country, editing the Western Gazette in Yeovil and the Bristol-based Western Daily Press.
