Channel 4 News has established The Sarah Corp Fellowship for foreign producers.

Awarded to one person each year, the fellowship will enable the candidate to spend six months on the foreign desk in London, as well as six months at the Channel 4 News Washington DC bureau. They will receive training and mentoring to identify and research TV news stories, set up high profile interviews, and package and edit them.

The deadline for applications (which can be submitted to scfellowship@itn.co.uk) is 30 September.

Sarah Corp had spent 17 years at Channel 4 News and had covered US and European elections, the war in Iraq, the earthquake in Haiti, and many other stories. She died of cancer at the age of 41 in 2016.
