Maxim has appointed Ben Raworth as editorial director following the departure of editor Michael Donlevy.

Raworth joins the monthly men’s interest magazine after working on Dennis Publishing’s online titles Imotor and Monkey. Now overseeing all three publications, he said of his expanded role: “I will be moving a bit more quickly as men’s tastes change so rapidly…but it will be gradual.”

Donlevy, who became the editor of the magazine in September 2007, has left Dennis Publishing to go freelance.
