The Metro newspaper’s Executive MetroLife Editor (for the English regions and Scotland), Chris Sharratt, has left the newspaper to focus on a freelancing career.

His last day at the Metro was 25 September.

MetroLife is a region-specific arts & entertainment guide covering art, dance, theatre, music, TV, cinema and books.

It has separate editions for the English regions of Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds, Newcastle, Bristol, East Midlands, Liverpool and Cardiff and is a supplement of the daily urban freesheet The Metro.
