Horse & Hound editor, Lucy Higginson, will be going on maternity leave on 18 August.

Jaki Bell, deputy editor and veterinary pages editor, will cover for Higgison.

Also at Horse & Hound, Karen Spinner has been promoted to acting deputy editor in addition to her current role as features editor.
