Iliffe Media to acquire Newark Advertiser

Iliffe Media has confirmed it is buying Newark Advertiser to add to its Midlands portfolio. The Advertiser is currently owned by independent publisher Advertiser Group Newspapers and it is anticipated the sale will be completed by Monday 18 June. The deal includes the weekly Advertiser, its website and the free Newark Trader.

Iliffe Media is an independent long term family owned newspaper publishing business which acquired 13 titles from Johnston Press in January last year and also took over KM Media Group in April 2017.
