ITV entertainment controller exits

ITV's controller of entertainment Layla Smith is leaving the broadcaster after 15 years.
Smith has worked on series including I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here, Who Wants to be a Millionaire?, Piers Morgan's Life Stories and Dancing On Ice, which will air its final series next year.
Smith was previously executive producer on both the UK and US productions of Hell's Kitchen. She said: “I have spent 15 truly amazing years at ITV, firstly making shows for the network and then commissioning for it during incredibly challenging times. I have had the privilege of working with some of the most talented people in TV, both on and off screen, but now feel it is time to venture out from my ITV home and throw myself into a new challenge.”
