Jim Parker steps down from his role as Editor
Torquay Herald Express Editor Jim Parker has stepped down from day-to-day editing. Jim has worked at the paper for 39 years, serving as Editor for the last six. In the last year Jim has also had editorial oversight of the Exeter Express & Echo, North Devon Journal and Mid Devon Gazette Series. Scott Harrison has now taken over as Editor of these titles in addition to being Editor at Cornish Guardian, The Cornishman and The West Briton.
Jim will now take on the role of Reach plc’s Associate Editor for Devon as well as working as a Business Development Manager for a local law firm. Jim will also continue to write a weekly column for the Herald Express.
