More staff changes at The Daily Telegraph
It has been another week of editorial comings and goings at The Telegraph.
Last Friday, Annabel Freyburg announced her departure from the paper. She had been home editor on Telegraph magazine. She can now be contacted on annabel.freyberg@gmail.com.
This was followed by news that Patrick Barclay will be leaving the Sunday Telegraph for The Times to become chief football correspondent. Patrick will replace Martin Samuel, who is joining The Daily Mail.
On Saturday, it was announced Brian McArthur would become assistant editor of books. He will be responsible for books content in both print and online editions of the title.
Harry de Quetteville was then revealed as people editor for the group. This new role gives him responsibility for obituaries, court, social and weather across the printed and online editions.
Tim Jotischky became deputy editor of The Sunday Telegraph on Monday. He was Head of Sport at the Mail and replaces Dan Roberts.
Since Monday, two more departures have been announced. Craig Brown left the paper after nearly 14 years as a columnist followed by AN Wilson, who wrote a literary column for the group.
