Phil Lavelle heads to Los Angeles

Al Jazeera freelance TV correspondent Phil Lavelle will no longer be working from the Al Jazeera London office. Starting in October, Lavelle will be working as an LA correspondent for Al Jazeera. Lavelle is moving to Los Angeles in September to work as a freelance correspondent for a number of broadcasters including CCTV America and ITN Productions.

Lavelle has previously worked for Channel 5 and BBC News.

He can be found tweeting @phillavelle.
