The Dunoon Observer and Argyllshire Standard has been purchased by Argyll Media Ltd, sister company of DNG Media Ltd. The change in ownership comes as previous owner E&R Inglis Ltd, owned by the Carmichaels, closes down.

The newspaper will continue to be published at the offices on John Street and will be printed in full colour for the first time following the confirmation of the change in ownership.
