Rich Leigh & Company, a six-month old PR agency, will open an office in Manchester to work alongside its Gloucester-based main office. This will enable the company to be closer in location to a number of current clients and to also take advantage of northern opportunities.

With clients already in Manchester and Newcastle, agency founder Rich Leigh believes that having an office in the north will support the wider growth he envisages.

The northern office is to be headed up by consultant Emily Urban-Smith, who brings more than a decade of experience in consumer, health and public sector PR, having worked with a number of clients including Boots, Coca-Cola and GlaxoSmithKline. Urban-Smith had previously worked with the agency in a freelance capacity.
