The Salford Star has released its first print edition since 2008 thanks to donations from readers and a volunteer editorial team. 20,000 copies of the quarterly magazine, which focuses on investigative journalism, have been distributed to homes and public locations across Salford. Funding is also already in place for a second issue, which will be published in September 2015.
