Snack brand chooses Open approach to PR

Yorkshire based PR agency, Open Communications, has been appointed by Intersnack, a UK manufacturer of savoury snacks and owner of a number of key brands including Pom Bear and Penn State.

The team at Open Comms will implement a full consumer PR strategy that will support the company, its brand portfolio and product launches throughout the year.

David Wilson, Head of Marketing at Intersnack comments: “With a straight talking approach and a real focus on delivering realistic and achievable campaigns, we knew very quickly that Open Communications would be ideal to support us during some exciting and also challenging times ahead. We needed to engage with an agency that would work as an extension of our team and we certainly feel that Open will do this.”

Director of Open Communications, Lindsey Davies added: “This is an exciting time for Intersnack and we are looking forward to working closely with the team to bring to life some creative concepts, which will introduce a whole new way of snacking to the marketplace.”

Open Communications will also work closely with consultant, Chris Solloway (Wordbird Communications) who handles corporate and trade communications for Intersnack.
