Telegraph journalist joins Observer
The Daily Telegraph’s public policy editor, Toby Helm, is joining the Observer as Whitehall editor in the summer.
Helm will replace Jo Revill, who is leaving the Observer next month to work as a strategic communications adviser to the health secretary, Alan Johnson.
Helm joined the Sunday Telegraph in 1991 and in 1996 was appointed Brussels correspondent for the Sunday title and the Daily Telegraph. In 1999 he became Berlin correspondent and in 2002 he was made the Daily Telegraph’s chief political correspondent.
