Julian Gairdner to leave Farmers Weekly

Farmers Weekly digital director Julian Gairdner is set to leave the title in early April to take up a new position as head of digital with New Zealand rural publisher NZX-Agri.

Gairdner began his journalism career on Crops magazine before joining the Farmers Weekly arable team. He later became online editor before being appointed digital director. He has overseen the development of www.fwi.co.uk and the launch of the Power Farming machinery website last year in this role.
