Programming changes at Radio City 96.7

Radio City 96.7 is to make a number of programming changes following the appointment of Chris Rick as the Liverpool station's content controller.

Simon Ross, current breakfast show presenter, will move to mid-mornings after five and a half years fronting Radio City's flagship programme.

Ross will be replaced at breakfast by Leanne Campbell, who joins from 107.6 Juice FM, and a yet-to-be-hired anchor. No launch date for Campbell's show has been set and won't be until after the current anchor recruitment is concluded.

The station will introduce a 'No Repeat Workday' music policy between 09:00 – 15:00 weekdays bringing, it says, "a renewed focus on music variety."

In addition, 'Old Skool & Anthems' will broadcast daily from 14:00 – 15:00 beginning 17 February.

Al Stirling, head of production will be leaving the station following these changes.
