Schedule changes for BBC Asian Network from March 2021
BBC Asian Network has confirmed several changes to its schedule which will come in from 1 March:
Haroon Rashid, currently entertainment reporter, will host a Saturday morning show called Beyond Bollywood from 10am – 1pm. It will cover cinema and on-demand hits from the Bollywood genre.
Nikita Kanda and Mistah Islah will join the station to present a Saturday afternoon show from 1pm – 3pm with music and entertainment.
Nayha Ahmad will also join the station as Drivetime host, replacing Yasser Ranjha, to present the Official Asian Music Chart on Fridays, 4 – 6pm.
Finally, AJD will present a Thursday night show, 7 – 10pm, in addition to his usual Saturday slot from 4pm – 7pm.
