Trinity Mirror has unveiled Mirror Media Ireland, a corporate brand for its business in Ireland.
The brand, which was officially unveiled at a trade event in Dublin on 27 July, will benefit from a consumer digital advertising and promotional campaign to support the website and e-edition launches, alongside a sustained trade marketing campaign for Mirror Media Ireland.
The launch follows Trinity Mirror’s recent expansion in Ireland comprising localised print editions of the Irish Daily Mirror and Sunday Mirror, regional Irish Daily Mirror e-editions and the recently launched localised website www.irishmirror.ie.
Joanne McGreevy, Mirror Media Ireland’s managing director, said: “We’re very excited to be launching Mirror Media Ireland as a new trade brand for the Mirror in Ireland. It represents our revitalised and extended cross media offering and our commitment as a progressive publishing business, keen to bring new audiences to our advertisers and new and convenient formats to our readers.”
