Excel Networking Solutions is celebrating a significant milestone this year; its 21st birthday! The Excel brand is owned by Mayflex, which was founded in 1917. After the company entered the communication cables market in the 1980s, Mayflex launched the Excel brand in January 1997.

In just 21 years, Excel has revolutionised the structured cabling and rack markets, setting new standards in product choice, performance, flexible service, support and availability. Since its launch Excel has grown to become an award winning brand sold in over 70 countries and for multiple years held the number one position in the UK, based on the volume sold.

The Excel product range has been installed in every conceivable vertical market across the world. From enterprise to datacentres, from retail to education and health, from hotels in the desert to sporting venues across Europe, Excel is accepted, respected, and installed on a daily basis in just about every environment you can imagine.
