2012 Midlands CIPR PRide Awards
The winners of the 2012 Midlands CIPR PRide Awards were announced on Friday 2 November at a black-tie dinner at Hilton Birmingham Metropole, presented by former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond.
Over 300 guests from across the Midlands gathered "to recognise and celebrate organisations and individuals who have delivered outstanding results in public relations and communications over the last year."
The big winner on the night was Birmingham-based agency HROC PR, who scooped four gold awards, including Best Use of Measurement and Evaluation, Best Campaign £10,000 and under, Corporate and Business Communications and Consumer Relations.
The Midlands Co-operative Society also took home three gold awards, including the gold award for their external publication, Co-operative Magazine.
Amongst others recognised on the night were former Grayling CEO Loretta Tobin, who was recognised individually for her "Outstanding Contribution to the PR Profession", and Wyatt International who took home the award for "Outstanding Public Relations Consultancy", beating four other regional agencies for the night’s top prize.
