Angel Trains raises its profile with Brass

A major new marketing campaign has been launched to raise the profile of Angel Trains, a UK-based leasing company, financing, managing and delivering rolling stock to train operating companies currently to the tune of £3.2 billion in investments.

The campaign which involves trade press advertising, PR and internal communications is being handled by Brass and follows a review and repositioning of the Angel Trains’ brand following the McNulty Report published in May 2011, which reviewed the potential of the British rail industry focusing its recommendations on value for money.

As a result a new Angel Trains positioning and strap line, ‘Rail People, Real Expertise’, has been developed to spearhead a year long integrated marketing campaign targeted at the rail industry and which focuses on the strengths and proven track record of the company.

A series of striking advertisements appearing in rail industry titles focus on how Angel Trains and its employees have played key roles in delivering positive results for the industry through its investments and leasing expertise.

David Lavelle, managing partner at Brass added: “We were able to source a lot of great examples of how Angel Trains’ people have played key roles in helping customers through adding value and reducing costs. We have based the advertising and PR around these successes, creating one of the most visible ad campaigns in the industry.”
