Anoto pens deal with Davies Murphy Group to expand PR engagement into UK

Davies Murphy Group (DMG), an international public relations, marketing and business strategy agency specialising in the high-tech sector, today announced that Anoto Group AB, has expanded its engagement to include UK PR services. DMG has already been providing US PR services for Anoto since 2010.

“Anoto has already been working successfully with DMG’s US office for two years and achieved excellent and consistent results. We are confident that the UK office will mirror that achievement,” said Anoto vice president, marketing Virginia Carpenter. “Having a single, integrated international team is more efficient and easier to manage than retaining multiple agencies. We have already seen impressive synergies between the teams on both sides of the Atlantic.”

Founded in 1999, Anoto Group is the company behind the unique technology for digital pen and paper, which enables fast and reliable transmission of handwritten text into a digital format. Anoto operates through a global partner network that focuses on user-friendly solutions for efficient capture, transmission and storage of data within different business segments, e.g. healthcare, finance, education, transport and logistics. The Anoto Group has around 100 employees and is headquartered in Lund, Sweden. The company also has offices in the UK in Guildford and Wetherby, Boston in the US and Tokyo.

“Our UK PR campaign is off to a fast start, thanks in a large part to the tremendous amount of domain expertise DMG already has with Anoto and its market,” commented DMG’s European managing director Martin Brindley. “We have already started a productive dialogue with Anoto’s local partners and discovered some truly ground breaking implementations they are working on that will provide us plenty of PR ammunition for the rest of the year and beyond.”
