BBC Radio Merseyside managing editor to leave
Mick Ord, managing editor of BBC Radio Merseyside, is set to leave the station in April.
Ord, who has been at the station for 27 years, is set to become editor of BBC Knowledge and Learning (Religion, Ethics and Topicality. His departure means three of the four managing editors in the north-west will have vacated their job this year. BBC Hereford and Worcester’s and Three Counties editors have also announced their departures recently.
