The British Guild of Travel Writers' (BGTW) Awards were held at the Savoy Hotel in London on Sunday 3 November.

The BGTW Travel Writer of the Year award went to Mike Unwin from Brighton, a journalist with recent columns in The Independent and BBC Wildlife. The Adele Evans Award for Best Guidebook went to writer Kirsty Fergusson for her title Slow Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, published by Bradt Travel Guides.
