Manchester based PR firm, Bird Consultancy, has been appointed by the organisers of Power Snooker to broker their commercial relationships and develop media introductions.

Power Snooker, a faster paced re-working of the traditional game which has been likened to Twenty20 cricket, launches at the O2 Arena on 30 October, with live coverage on ITV4, and broadcast on ITV Sport and talkSPORT radio.

Other recent Bird Consultancy account wins include the handling of commercial activity and media relations for Ronnie O’Sullivan , working with Rileys Snooker on ‘The Life of Riley’ and ‘Ronnie O’Sullivan Future Stars’ initiatives; plus PR requirements for childcare voucher providers Fideliti; Circus Casino Manchester and Goldentree Financial Services.
