Blokely, the new and independent men’s lifestyle website, has appointed Burr Media to handle its PR and communications strategy.
The website, created in 2010 by its founder and editor, James York, includes in depth features on entertainment, music, grooming, lifestyle and sport in a straightforward style for men in their 20s, 30s or 40s.
Among Burr Media’s key strategies will be to build York’s profile against the success of the website. Burr Media will also use the site’s original content to increase its presence both on and offline, with regular contributors including Bath and England rugby player Olly Barkley, comedian Josh Howie, ex-England cricketer Ryan Sidebottom, motoring expert Paul Myles and actress Kelly-Anne Lyons.
