Cerebra appoints Robert Winter as marketing & comms officer
National children’s charity Cerebra has appointed Robert Winter as marketing and communications officer, and Jamie Thomas as marketing and communications assistant.
Winter is currently working on the local and regional press opportunities around the 2010 Cerebra Children’s Awards being held at London Zoo on the 27th October.
Cerebra will now also be appointing Goodwill Ambassadors. The role of an Ambassador will be to help promote the charity and raise the profile of the charity at all suitable opportunities and at events that they may also be attending, in their own right.
Robert was previously marketing and communications officer with the United Nations in Geneva; head of the educational television unit of the pan-European public TV service secretariat and prior to that, head of the marketing unit for BBC News and Current Affairs based in London.
Cerebra is a charity that funds research on brain conditions and provides support to parents, carers and professionals.
