CYPNow.co.uk, the website for Children & Young People Now, has appointed Charlotte Goddard online editor.

She returns to the website from maternity leave and previously worked as acting editor of Children Now, the predecessor magazine to Children & Young People Now.

Also at the magazine, Ruth Smith has been appointed news editor. Prior to her new role, Smith was previously features and special projects editor at Children & Young People Now.

The magazine and website were launched in September 2007 following a merger between Children Now and Young People Now.

Published weekly by Haymarket Professional, Children & Young People Now provides news, analysis and comment for professionals working with children and young people.
