Changes at Craven Herald & Pioneer

Yorkshire newspaper the Craven Herald & Pioneer is to change its format from broadsheet to tabloid from Thursday 5 November.

It will also replace the front page advertisements with news for the first time in 169 years.

Editor Peter Greenwood stated in his column, “[The Herald] must adapt and meet the demands of a changing world, changing needs and changing tastes as it seeks to find new readers and customers.”

The Craven Herald & Pioneer is a weekly newspaper that circulates in Skipton, which is located in the Yorkshire Dales.
