Changes at Hull Daily Mail as deputy editor leaves

The Hull Daily Mail has appointed Paul Hartley as deputy editor and Jamie Macaskill as assistant editor after the departure of deputy editor David Bourn.

Bourn is now editorial director of Scottish Provincial Press in Inverness. He oversees 15 weekly papers and websites in the north of Scotland.

Jamie Macaskill takes over from Paul Hartley’s previous role and starts on 8 July.
