Changes at Uxbridge and Harrow

The Harrow Observer has appointed David Tilley as editor in chief.

Tilley replaces previous editor Lindsay Coulson who left earlier this month to join Westminster City Council’s press office.

Chris Longhurst has taken on Tilley’s previous role as content editor at sister title the Uxbridge Gazette. He was formerly chief reporter at the paper, and has not yet been directly replaced.

The Harrow Observer is set for further changes, with both news editor Emily Twinch and sports editor John Comfort leaving the paper this month. Reporter David Baker will provide temporary cover for the sports desk. No permanent replacement has been announced for either role.

The Harrow Observer and Uxbridge Gazette are both published weekly by Trinity Mirror.
