The winners of the 2011 CIPR (Chartered Institute of Public Relations) Midlands PRide Awards were announced at a ceremony hosted by Kriss Akabusi at the Hilton Metropole in Birmingham on 2 December.

Willoughby PR was a Gold winner in the Corporate and Business Communications category for their campaign, FOG Down The Drain – BSS Industrial, as well as for Best Use of Social Media for their Bringing Magic Back to Life campaign. The highlight for WPR, however, was winning Gold for Outstanding Public Relations Consultancy.

Kidderminster-based Fresh Public Relations also scooped Gold, winning Outstanding Small Consultancy.
