CIPR PRide Awards shortlist
Jargon PR, Livewire, Carswell Gould and Marketing Matters are amongst the shortlisted agencies for the 2010 CIPR PRide awards.
Reading based Jargon PR has been selected as a finalist for ‘Campaign of the Year’ and ‘Outstanding Small Consultancy of the year’ in the Thames & Chiltern region.
Carswell Gould has been shortlisted in the Wessex region for the ‘Best Campaign £10k and Under’ category, after its work for RIBEX caught the eye of industry judges. CG’s Laura Downton has also been shortlisted in the ‘Outstanding Young Communicator of the Year’ category.
In the Wessex region, Marketing Matters has been shortlisted in the ‘Not-for-Profit’ category for its campaign for the British Tinnitus Association (BTA) and its Tinnitus Awareness Week, which took place in February 2010.
Surrey-based education and technology specialist, Livewire Public Relations is also celebrating after being shortlisted for ‘Best Campaign £10K and Under’ for its campaign ‘Digital eyewitness – the past in pictures: Launch of The Illustrated London News Historical Archive 1842-2003’.
Winners will be announced at awards ceremonies across the country in November.

The CIPR PRide Awards showcases the best PR work being carried out across the UK regions and nations. There are twelve areas taking part – East Anglia; Home Counties South; Midlands; North East; North West; Northern Ireland; Scotland; Thames and Chiltern; Wales; West of England; Wessex and Channel Islands and Yorkshire and Lincolnshire.
