Cirkle appoints deputy managing director
Cirkle has appointed consumer PR specialist Nick Woods to the role of deputy managing director.
Previously in senior account-handling, creative and business development roles at Porter Novelli, Weber Shandwick and MSLGroup, Woods key responsibility will be on further developing Cirkle’s consumer and digital portfolios.
Finalists in The Holmes Report’s European Consumer Agency of the Year 2011, this appointment further reinforces Cirkle’s consumer PR offer, who’s portfolio of brands includes Russell Hobbs, Remington, Energizer, Mission Foods, Cross Pens and most recent win, Chewits.
Anne Kendall, managing director at Cirkle, says: “Nick’s strategic strength, creative abilities and client-handling skills represent a step-change in our consumer offering. We believe his appointment will enhance Cirkle’s management team and deliver real impact to the business. His current strategic focus is on brand storytelling, from identification of what a brand’s story is, right through to how best to bring it to life and keep it relevant.”
Woods says, “Cirkle has a fantastic attitude to staff, work and clients as its slew of awards and short-listings testify. I am genuinely excited about the opportunity and potential that lies ahead to cement our credentials as a leading PR agency for consumer brands.”
