PR agency Little Red Rooster has been appointed to handle consumer press relations in the UK for appliance brand Smeg.

Little Red Rooster will be working across the entire collection of domestic appliances from Smeg, and will handle all media relations, from trade and interiors to consumer lifestyle, fashion, national newspaper supplements and luxury titles. The account will be led by Little Red Rooster partner Victoria Ruffy. 

Additionally, James Day (pictured), former Metro tech editor, will be joining Little Red Rooster as director of new business development, as of 27 July. Day has 15 years’ experience as a national press journalist working across news, features, technology, showbiz, entertainment, sport, fashion, travel, health and lifestyle.
