Data Journalism Awards (DJA) 2013 winners
The winners of the Data Journalism Awards (DJA) were announced during the GEN News Summit in Paris on 20 June.
The awards recognise outstanding work and editorial excellence in the field of data journalism.
This year the BBC was named the winner of the data-driven applications award for the Great British class calculator, which lets users answer certain questions and then tells them which of seven classes they would be placed in.
Other winners include Media Wales, Argentina's La Nacion, Guardian US, Thomson Reuters and freelance journalist Jean Abbiateci.
