Derek Tucker steps down from The Press and Journal
Editor of The Press and Journal, Derek Tucker, has announced he is to retire in January 2011.
Tucker, who was editor of the Aberdeen-based daily for 18 years, previously worked on the Express & Star in Wolverhampton. He has also served on the Press Complaints Commission twice and been chairman of the Scottish Daily Newspaper Society Editors’ Committee.
He is due to step down on 14 January.
