Dork Adore, “the ultimate haven for geeks,” has been redesigned.
The website has a new masthead and colour scheme in order to achieve a more stylish and grown-up look. The layout of the site has also changed to highlight the most popular content and improve navigation and usability.
Although the sections of the website are the same the content will now focus much more on lifestyle elements. The technology section for example is now less about gadget news and more about how technology fits into our lives. So, technology coverage will aim to source gadgets and technology that fit in with current trends and styles.
There will also be more focus on the more popular sections of the website – television, film, craft and web.
The redesign coincides with the acquisition of the site by Jones & Jones Media, a company specialising in creating lifestyle media for style-aware audiences. The redesign exploits the expertise of the company, and celebrates their takeover.
