Dynamo appointed by DriveGain

Dynamo has been appointed to handle the publicity and promotions for fuel saving app DriveGain throughout the UK, mainland Europe and North America.

DriveGain provides audio and visual feedback as you drive, helping drivers become more efficient and providing money savings of up to £170 per year – equivalent to the annual average car tax cost. Created by serial technology entrepreneur Simon East, the app is being developed for both consumer usage and commercial licensing and has been adopted by the Danish government in a programme designed to make drivers safer and more economical in their driving habits.

Peter Bowles, Creative MD at Dynamo will lead the account and will work with DriveGain’s MD to promote the app to smartphone and car press, driving free downloads and encouraging users to make in-app purchases that provide additional features such as a fuel savings meter and CO2 Meter. Dynamo will lead on PR strategy for Europe and the US, positioning the app as an important money saving tool as consumers tighten their belts in 2012.
