Econsultancy has appointed Vikki Chowney as news editor.

In this newly created role, Chowney will help drive the news operation that Econsultancy is in the process of establishing, overseeing a team of reporters.

She was previously the editor of the now defunct Reputation Online, whilst writing columns for Communicate and New Media Age. She’s also a freelance writer and has worked for brands such as Jaguar, O2, and Talk Talk.
