Editor of the Stirling Observer, Alan Rennie, left his post last week due to a restructure at Trinity Mirror’s Scottish and Universal Newspapers division.

A newly created role of regional editor for Central Tayside will oversee the Stirling Observer, as well as the Perthshire Advertiser, Blairgowrie Advertiser and Strathearn Herald.

Rennie’s 26-year editorship also included the Stirling Shopper.
