Editorial appointments at Phoenix

Phoenix magazine has made two additions to their editorial team.

Gitte Meldgaard has been appointed LA editor at the title and will be responsible for shooting fashion editorials and overseeing the booking of LA based talent for interviews. Meldgaard is also a photographer for many fashion, beauty and lifestyle publications, including Issue One, Flaunt and Vogue. LA editorial assistant Jeana Sullivan will be the main point of contact for Gitte.

Emily Beeson joins the team in the UK as digital culture editor. Beeson's main duties will involve writing and commissioning news, reviews and features on art, books, film and music for the magazine's online platform.

Phoenix magazine will also be announcing a new UK fashion editor soon.
