Editorial changes at Classical Music

Kimon Daltas has been promoted to editor at Classical Music. Formerly deputy editor, he replaces Keith Clarke in this role who has taken the role of consulting editor at the title.

Alex Stevens, formerly assistant editor at the magazine, is now deputy editor.

In other news Classical Music has unveiled a string of changes to its website. The site now offers an improved news service bringing users “up-to-date and authoritative news coverage, analysis and opinion.”

The magazine are also in the process of adding previously archived features, news and reviews to the site with the aim of having more than five years’ worth of news and features available online as fully functioning, searchable web pages.

News and opinion articles will be free to view but subscribers will have exclusive access to comment on stories and digital editions of the magazine as well as a daily email compiled by the editorial team summarising the day’s classical music news from across the press.
