Editorial changes on Future’s mountain biking portfolio

Future Publishing has announced that Danny Walter has been promoted to editor in chief of its mountain biking portfolio.

Walter has been editing Future’s Mountain Biking UK for the past five years. In his new role he will continue as hands-on editor for Mountain Biking UK but will also have additional responsibility for overseeing its sister magazine, What Mountain Bike, as well as driving forward the portfolio’s digital growth.

The mountain biking portfolio has been further strengthened by the appointment of Steve Williams as acting editor of What Mountain Bike.

Williams joins from Future’s Games Hub where he was managing editor and will work with Walter to develop the title. He replaces departing editor Matt Skinner.
