Editorial staff changes at The Independent

The Independent has reshuffled its senior editorial staff. News editor, Oliver Wright has moved to the new post of Whitehall editor. Oly Duff, deputy home news editor, has replaced Wright in the home news editing role. Foreign editor, Katherine Butler has changed roles to become comment editor and comment editor Adrian Hamilton now writes a column for the paper. Butler’s role has been filled by deputy foreign editor, Archie Bland and assistant comment editor Amol Rajan is now deputy comment editor.
