The Evening Leader series of papers in Wrexham, Flintshire and Chester is to switch production to overnight and become a morning paper.

Following a trial-run of overnight production for Friday editions in January, NWN Media has decided to produce all editions for the morning. As a result, the paper will be renamed ‘the Leader’.

Other changes include a new sports supplement every Monday and a celebrity news section.

The changes will come into effect from 14 September, and follow on from the paper’s website revamp last month.
