Cathy Winston, lifestyle editor of News of the World’s Fabulous magazine, is leaving to go freelance from 1 April.

She will continue to write for the magazine, as well as covering books and serialisations for Fabulous, and is also available for commissions and shifts.

Winston will be covering general lifestyle (including beauty, wellbeing, health and diet) plus travel and celebrity.

She was previously head of features and head of Premier Showbiz at the Press Association as well as freelancing for various women’s magazines.
