Bauer Media is to publish a stand-alone edition of health and fitness handbook FHM Bionic on 17th December.

FHM Bionic originally launched in 1999 as a biannual title under previous owners Emap. The title went monthly in 2001 and closed three months later.

Editorial will include health, nutrition and fitness statistics, with health tips and research and content about grooming and participation sports. It will have a print run of 80,000.
