Food Science and Technology has appointed Melanie Brown as editor.
Brown replaces Dr Roger Atkin who has retired from the position after ten years.
The first issue under Brown’s editorship is the first of four special Jubilee issues of the title. Each Jubilee issue will focus on a specific topic of key importance to the food sector, showing the scientific and technological advances that have been made and identifying the problems still to be overcome. The first theme is food safety and security.
